Since starting my cake business in 2015, I've experienced the joy of being a part of other people's birthdays, baby and bridal showers, gifts of love and friendship, and couples' wedding days.

I run a home-based cake business, which means that I follow Michigan's Cottage Food Laws. These laws exempt me from licensing and inspection provisions but do require me to comply with a number of other ordinances to ensure that my products all remain "non-potentially hazardous."
